After a 9 month closure and complete remodel, Rhumbar Tropical Ultra Lounge has reopened at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas to much fanfare. With the vibe of a modern speakeasy with retro styling and a sunny color palette, Rhumbar offers an array of delicious dishes and captivating cocktails.
The cheerful indoor/outdoor space is surrounded by an impressive 360 degree installation of over 1,000 Rotary White 11.4" Breeze Blocks by Tesselle. Scroll down to see more images and a list of the design and construction professionals that brought this project to completion.

Above: A technical note - ideally, when installing breeze blocks, you will be able to position the support columns to avoid vertical gaps between the block installation and the columns. Sometimes, this is not possible, and there will a gap, since trimming the blocks themselves is not a good solution. Where there will be a gap, it is still necessary to brace the breeze blocks to the column between courses. See the above photo for one possible solution.
