On January 7th, Christina DiGerlando, our new Director of Customer Experience, and I gathered in Palm Springs for our annual planning meeting. Among the many decisions we made that day, one stood out: to pledge 1% of our 2025 product sales to a worthy cause.
That evening, our hearts broke as wildfires tore through communities close to our home base in Riverside. Witnessing the devastation brought by these fires—and reflecting on the growing frequency of natural disasters nationwide—was a sobering reminder of the urgent need for relief efforts. We are deeply grateful to the first responders who risk their lives to save people, animals, and property and to reporters and officials who work tirelessly to keep the public informed.
As we explored the many non-profits over the following week, we were overwhelmed by the incredible work being done to support those in need. However, we felt a growing pull toward supporting an organization that provides immediate assistance in the face of disasters. Among them, The American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund stood out for its unmatched ability to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies across the nation.
This choice became even more personal when a family member of one of our team members shared their story of receiving aid from The Red Cross after losing their home to a fire.
In 2025, Tesselle will pledge 1% of product sales to The American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund through monthly contributions.
TThis means we will donate 1% of the total value of Breeze Block and Cement Tile product orders (for both projects and samples), after discount, and excluding shipping, sales tax, and refunds. For example, if your product subtotal after any discount is $1,500.00, Tesselle will contribute an additional $15 to the cause.
We are honored to support The Red Cross as they provide vital aid to those affected by disasters.
