We just received a photo from our factory of the first article for a custom 12" square cement tile we developed in collaboration with the architect and developer of an upcoming urban housing project. The developer purchased the rights to this authentic piece of licensed African art, and we translated it into a highly detailed cement tile pattern.
Our factory created a complex mold that functions almost like an oversized cookie cutter, allowing seven individual pigments to be hand-poured into precise cavities before the tile is hydraulically pressed. The result captures the energy, rhythm, and color of the original artwork in a durable, architectural material.
