Please note that breeze blocks are decorative, and should not be used as structural units, such as in load bearing walls.

• Square Footage (SF) listed assumes installation with 1/2" mortar line, meaning each block will cover an 8x8" surface and 2.25 blocks cover a square foot.
• In-stock items: Deliver in 1–2 weeks
• Oversold items: Up to 12 weeks (see next incoming stock and month of arrival at the top of the page)

Coverage and Overage:  How many blocks do I need?

We want to ensure you have enough blocks to complete your installation—even in the event of minor mishaps during shipping or on site. All shipments are insured against significant freight damage. If you've followed the overage guidelines below and still don’t have enough usable blocks, we’ll promptly replace any damaged units that exceed the recommended overage.

Step 1: Determine your total square footage. Click here for a square footage calculator.

Step 2: Add overage based on the square footage (SF) of your project:

• Under 40 SF: Add 12 blocks
• 40–100 SF: Add 15% (multiply by 1.15)
• 101–300 SF: Add 10% (multiply by 1.10)
• 301+ SF: Add 7% (multiply by 1.07)

Step 3: Order 2.25 blocks per square foot with overage above added. Although each unit measures 7.5" square", the inclusion of a 1/2" mortar line brings the module to 8" square. For structural integrity, installation must include vertical and horizontal rebar per engineering requirements. Refer to our installation instructions for best practices.

Actual coverage of each block without mortar is .391 square feet, so a multiplier of 2.56 per square foot can be used to determine blocks needed for other uses.
