Sales and Customer Relationship Manager (Remote)

Our customers are landscape and interior designers, architects, contractors, dealers, and homeowners. We run our company based on the principles outlined in the books "Traction" by Gino Wickman and "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara. Job Description: We are seeking a Sales and Customer Relationship Manager who focuses on communicating by phone and email with existing and potential customers with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction and producing incremental sales. This is a non-commissioned position with group incentive bonus potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a relationship with key customers, understanding their requirements, project profile, and workflow. Guide customers to the best solution for their needs.
- Contact customers who have placed sample orders, requested a quote, or abandoned a cart but have not placed a larger order for a project.
- Provide accurate quotes for project orders.
- Contact customers post-purchase to ensure their satisfaction and learn about their project.
- Process orders for samples and projects. Ensure that orders are placed accurately, proper expectations are set with the customers, and logistics requirements are conveyed.
- Keep accurate notes on customer conversations on a shared platform.
- Answer questions about the product and company policies.
- Ask customers to provide photos of their finished projects.
- Learn software programs that run our business and gain a basic understanding of company functions such as marketing, logistics management, factory and warehouse communications, sample department operations, inventory management, & website maintenance.
- Coordinate with the main office and remote teams.
Qualifications:
- Must have highly developed interpersonal skills and genuinely love interacting with people of all backgrounds.
- Hours are somewhat flexible but must be able to interact with customers in all US time zones during normal business hours
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to accurately calculate basic math problems.
- Interest in architecture and interior design.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events, team meetings, and training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the principles in "Traction" by Gino Wickman and "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara is advantageous.
