Joshua Hartman, AIA of Hermanos Design, shared this photo of a room divider built from Tesselle’s Sun Saffron Breeze Blocks by Trina Turk, installed at Mildred’s South Plaza in Kansas City, MO. The screen brings both pattern and purpose—offering privacy while maintaining an open, airy feel. Just like the design, the setting couldn’t be better. Mildred’s has been a Kansas City favorite for over 25 years, known for its scratch-made baked goods, standout salads, and what many locals consider the best breakfast sandwich in town. Whether you’re stopping in for a latte or lingering over lunch, the atmosphere is as thoughtful as the architecture.

Introducing Glamour Dimensional Premium Breeze Blocks from Tesselle. Measuring 7.5" square by 3" deep, each block features an angular, asymmetrical cutout on one side and a smooth surface with a reverse opening on the other. Whether used in a repeating pattern or a randomized layout, Glamour offers endless design possibilities.
