Outdoor living takes on a whole new meaning when the space is designed to function as an extension of the home.
This year-round outdoor living pavilion in Texas features Orb Breeze Blocks by Tesselle, used to create an architectural backdrop for the media area while allowing light and airflow to move through the space.

Designed and photographed by Michael Cagle of Cagle Art, the pavilion includes dedicated areas for watching TV, socializing and ping pong. A slatted wood pergola provides shade overhead, while ceiling fans and surrounding landscaping help make the space comfortable and inviting throughout the year.
The circular geometry of the Orb Breeze Block adds pattern and texture without creating the visual weight of a solid wall. The openings allow the pavilion to remain connected to the outdoors while still providing definition between different areas.

Breeze blocks are particularly well suited to outdoor living spaces because they can perform several functions at once. They can create privacy, define a room, provide a backdrop or architectural focal point, and allow light and air to pass through.

In this Texas pavilion, the Orb Breeze Block wall becomes part of the architecture while letting the media area remain open to its surroundings.
