At the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells, this installation of Pali Breeze Blocks demonstrates a clear, practical use of design.
The wall is used to conceal porter carts while still allowing airflow, making it an ideal solution for a high-traffic hospitality setting. Instead of closing off the space with a solid barrier, the open structure keeps the area ventilated and visually lighter.
The Pali pattern adds subtle depth and structure, turning a purely functional screen into an intentional architectural element. Set against the desert landscape and resort architecture, the white blocks provide a clean contrast while blending naturally into the environment.
It’s a straightforward example of using breeze blocks to solve a real operational need without sacrificing design.
