Inspired by Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage, CA, where Lava Tiles are featured in expansive indoor and outdoor installations, we have long wanted to introduce genuine lava to our product assortment. Scroll down for a link to see the lava tile wall at Sunnylands Center.
Therefore, we're excited to have found a lava quarry in Mexico that provides beautiful 24 x 12 x 3/4" tile planks which were produced by Mother Nature through volcanic activity. This new offering includes Tacaná, which is a light grey color with small voids, and Bárcena which is a medium grey color with larger voids. Tacaná and Bárcena are named after 2 of the 48 volcanoes that exist in Mexico.

Tacaná and Bárcena can be purchased together in a 50/50% mix, or separately. Combined, they can create a myriad of interesting patterns. Scroll down to see examples, each of which would cover a 16' x 8' surface.
